Presales Engineer
- Presales Engineers are key members for sales teams to drive multiple customer opportunities in parallel by partnering with the sales team to conduct business and technical discovery with customers.
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for the customer.
- Acting as trusted technical advisor for our customers regarding the products you are responsible for (listed below).
- Responsible for Technical Pre-Sales design for products you are responsible for. This includes defining solution hardware, licenses, professional services budgets, and services. In addition to Leading bids, organizing activities to ensure timely bid submission to meet agreed deadlines.
- Provides technical authority for submitted quotations/offers.
- Attending customers meeting with the sales team to gather requirements and/or present the product.
- Prepare and deliver effective presentations to customers to highlight solution detail and business benefit and help close deals.
- Build custom demos and deliver Proof of Concepts.
- Prepare and deliver sales training for the sales team to increase their awareness and knowledge of the product.
- Being aware of competitive products/solutions to be able to convince customers with the products we propose.
- Manage communication with Distributor/Vendor presales team when needed.
